My Story

I live in beautiful British Columbia (that’s in Canada, you know…:) and I’ve been scrappin’ for a few years now. I started out being a strict Creative Memories girl, and while I still think their products are the best, I’ve learned over the years that there are a lot of other companies out there making excellent products as well. The supplies I sell on eBay are often from my personal collection, although sometimes I come across a great deal or two and make sure I nab enough to share with you.

I’ve been selling scrapbooking supplies on eBay for a few years now. I tend to focus on stickers and no-longer-available Creative Memories products, although recently I’ve been adding a number of stationery items and other products to my inventory as well! My blog, Scrapbooks Galore, is dedicated to all things scrapbooking. I’ve got tons of tips, techniques, a glossary of scrapbooking terms, links to sales in my eBay store and a few scrapbooking funnies thrown in as well. I think it’s turning into a great resource.

My Style

I tend to be a fairly minimalist scrapbooker. That’s not to say that I don’t love and admire the amount of work that goes into some really ornate pages, but, for me, the most beautiful thing on the page should be the pictures of the people in my life! That’s probably why I still stick with Creative Memories after all these years. Plus, if I spent any more time on a page, I’d never get any done – you could say I’m a little slow

One of my current projects is to finally get rid of those evil magnetic photo albums kicking around the closet and to scrapbook the pictures properly. I’m working on the 1980’s right now, and oh my god, talk about big hair or what! The best part though is that I using up all that animal print mounting paper I’ve accumulated!

I’ve also started dabbling in digital scrapbooking. The number of resources on the web is staggering and you can find free layouts and page elements all over the place. I’m enjoying the ease of it and the fact that you can just do it without spending all that time setting up and then cleaning up! There’s still something to be said for the whole tactile experience of traditional scrapbooking though. Not to mention the fun of going to crops with all your stuff and hanging with the girls. It’s hard to be sociable from behind a computer screen
